Cranberry Mojito

Everyone loves a classic mojito so it's time to put a holiday spin on it with juicy red cranberries!

Ingredients

  • 1 Bunch Fresh Mint, trimmed (1 cm)
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 3/4 c. Golden Rum
  • 1 1/4 Fresh Lime Juice (about 6 Limes)
  • 3/4 c. Frozen Cranberry Juice Cocktail Concentrate, thawed
  • 2 10 oz. Bottles Sparkling Water, chilled

In a large pitcher crush the mint with the sugar (use wooden spoon). Add rum and lime juice; stir to dissolve sugar. Add the thawed cranberry juice concentrate and sparkling water and mix together. Mix in 6 cups ice. Add a few whole cranberries for decoration.

Peppermint Martini

Red and white is the colour of Christmas, Santa Claus ...and this delicious minty martini! The perfect Christmas drink for a sophisticated dinner party.

Ingredients

  • 4 peppermint candy canes/candy sweets
  • 3 Tb. sugar + 2 Tb. water
  • 4 ounces white chocolate liqueur
  • 2 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 2 ounces half-and-half
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pure Peppermint Extract

Crush the candy canes/sweets by pounding in a large resealable plastic bag. Alternatively use a food processor. Mis the sugar and water in a bowl until they are well blended. Dip the rim of your martini glass into the sugar water and then dip it into the crushed candy canes/sweets so that you have a peppermint rim!  In a cocktail shaker, put enough ice to fill two-thirds then add white chocolate liqueur, half-and-half, vanilla vodka and peppermint extract. Shake well, strain into martini glasses and serve chilled.

Gingerbread Cocktail

Spicy ginger and sweet apple blend like a dream in this cocktail. The perfect way to warm up this Winter...

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Domaine de Canton
  • 1 oz. vanilla vodka
  • 2.5 oz. apple cider
  • A few drops of lemon juice
  • Orange zest
  • Agave syrup
  • Graham crackers (crushed)

Dip the rim of the serving glass into the agave syrup and then into the graham cracker crumbs. In a cocktail shaker add the Domaine de Canton, vanilla vodka, apple cider, lemon juice and shake vigorously. Strain into glass. Freshly grate orange zest on drink and serve immediately.
