If you're looking for a unique DIY Christmas ornament idea, the these glitter ornaments are perfect for you! They will cost you very little to make and will certainly give you tree that extra sparkle!
Either buy your shells etc at a local crafts store or head down to your local beach or park and see what you can find! Why not try glittering some pinecones, acorns, pebbles or any other objects you can find and try it out! All you need is:
- Shell/pebble/acorn/pinecone
- Drill
- Glitter
- Paint/ Glue
- String/ ribbon
1) Take you shell or pinecone and drill a hole through the top at the centre.
2) Paint your shells any colour you wish or simply cover in glue. Be careful to distribute the paint/ glue evenly.
3) Over a bowl sprinkle glitter over your shells and leave to dry for a few hours.
4) Thread your string/ ribbon through the hole and tie a knot to make a loop!
And they are ready to hang on the tree!
