Wall hangings are a great form of wall art to jazz up a plain, bare space. They tend to have most impact when placed on a white (or very pale coloured) wall. Often they are bright or feature a busy design which makes them eye-catching and interesting.

DIY wall hangings use a wide variety of materials from wood to wool. The great thing about wall hangings is that they are easy to put up and even easier to take down - no need to redecorate with paint! You could even alternate them between seasons to match the holidays or celebrations.
