Follow this tutorial on how to make teacup candles.

    Materials

    Instructions

    1. Melt down the old candles in the nestled pans, or in a small pan set over a large pan at a temperature of 185 degrees. Remove the old wicks with tongs.
    2. Measure the height of the teacup and add about an inch and a half to your measurement. This will be the length of your wick. Attach one end of the wick to the wick sustainer and tie the other end to the wooden skewer.
    3. Dip the wick sustainer into the wax. The wax will act as a glue; next stick the wick sustainer to the bottom of the teacup.
    4. Pour the wax into the teacup, stopping 1/2 inch below the teacup's rim. Allow the wax to set, for at least 1 hour. The candle will harden with a well in the center. To even it out, use another skewer to prick a circle of holes about 2cm deep around the wick. Pour in more melted wax until surface is 1/4 inch below the rim. Cut the wick to size.
    5. Decorate or wrap your teacup as you wish to create a personalized gift.
